OTEC and CCRW present The Business Includes Abilities Showcase In Toronto March 23, 2018!

OTEC is proud to partner with the Discover Ability Network and the Canadian Council on Rehabilitiation and Work (CCRW)

OTEC (Ontario Tourism Education Corporation) and CCRW are proud to announce the Business Includes Abilities Showcase.  Join us on March 23, 2018 for breakfast at the Hotel Novotel and learn from industry leaders about how to avoid talent shortages by including the talent of people with disabilities. Learn about the Discover Ability Network and hear from a panel of employers who have hired skilled individuals with disabilities. The CCRW will be present to answer your questions about how to hire and accommodate the diverse talent of people with disabilities.

OTEC is committed to connecting employers to people with all abilities seeking tourism and hospitality industry jobs.  A partner with the Discover Ability Network, OTEC enables persons with disabilities to access jobs and employers to find the talent they need.

CCRW is a national organization that supports people with disabilities and assists employers  in breaking  down barriers to employment making it easier for employers to hire, train and retain persons with disabilities. Working directly with skilled and motivated candidates who are available and ready to work, CCRW is committed to understanding the needs of the individual business they support to fill vacancies  and create long lasting matches.

There are many advantages of hiring people with disabilities, such as increasing the size of your skilled labour pool, reducing costs associated with turnover and improving the engagement of all employees.

Employers are invited to learn more about why it is beneficial to include the talent of people with disabilities and where they can find the tools to do so.
